dedicated to discussing all the issues related to aviation in Sri
Lanka. These include engineering and operational aspects of
aircraft, air traffic control, air crashes and their reports and
theory of air navigation etc. All the international aircrafts
operating via Sri Lankan FIR are controlled by Bandaranaike
International Airport and limited number of domestic flights are
operated at Ratmalana Airport. Most of the content in Air Traffic
Control Sri Lanka are confined to the site and cannot be found
elsewhere in a web site or any other written literature. |
The goal of this
web site is to make general public and other aviation enthusiasts aware of the
Air traffic Control and Engineering aspect of it. Specially those who expects to
select career in the aviation and students who are seeking the theory behind Air
navigation, Radar control, Auto pilot operation of aircraft and Satellite guided
air navigation will definitely be benefited by this site.
The site
also expects to discuss and share the knowledge and resources of Air Traffic
Engineering. I
started developing this site on 03rd
November 1997.
